Miriam, with her strong belief in providing exceptional care to seniors, played a fundamental role in the first steps of Villa Alegría Nursing Homes. Over time, Nadia Ábrego and Emanuel Segura joined this commitment, who became fundamental pillars in the growth and development of Villa Alegría Nursing Homes.

Clemency, the Unbreakable: A 104-Year Legacy

Clemencia, affectionately known as Menchita, left an indelible mark on Villa Alegría Nursing Homes during her 104 years of life.

Her story is a testament to resilience and joy, inspiring us to value each day. Menchita radiated positivity and joy. Always with a smile, she shared funny stories that brightened our days. Her love for life and music was contagious, reminding us to enjoy the small moments.

Through her walks through the gardens, Menchita taught us to appreciate the beauty of nature. Her legacy reminds us of the importance of gratitude and joy at every stage of life.

Celebrating the Holidays with Family

At Villa Alegría, we celebrate various festivities such as New Year, Christmas and Thanksgiving in a family and welcoming atmosphere. We have the visit of the parish priest and the father of the church, and we offer masses for residents who wish to strengthen their faith. The diversity of origins of our residents, many of them of North American origin, enriches our community and gives us the opportunity to learn and grow together.

Boonie proved that it’s never too late to learn and enjoy new experiences by learning to ride a scooter at the age of 83.
